Sure we can use ftp, but its 2026. It should be possible to edit robots.txt in admincp
The editor should have a validator check. I have had that in WordPress for ages.
There should also be a check that robots.txt, sitemap settings and guest permissions do not conflict.
We do not want to spend google crawl budget on 403 no permission or put pages in sitemap that are noindex.
If there are conflicts then display these, so the admin can resolve them.
I think this feature would be very useful...
